Cabin 5

Cabin 5 is one of those cabins that just works for everyone. Whether your group is here to fish Walleye all week or you’re splitting time between the lake and Moose territory, this cabin gives you a comfortable home base without any fuss.

The kitchen is bright and well laid out — full-size fridge, stove with oven, microwave, and a dining table where your group can plan the day over breakfast or share stories over a fish fry dinner. Like every cabin at Rousseau’s Landing, it’s fully equipped for a housekeeping stay, so you bring your groceries and we handle the rest.

The red deck faces Sandbar Lake, framed by mature trees that give you privacy and shade. This is where mornings start — rods rigged, coffee in hand, watching the lake wake up. And evenings bring still water and quiet reflection after a full day chasing Northern Pike or heading out to one of our 15+ boat cache lakes.

Cabin 5 also serves as a strong hunting basecamp. Located on Sandbar Lake with close proximity to logging roads and cutovers, it’s well positioned for both Moose and Bear seasons. The red-sided exterior reflects the traditional fishing camp look, and the whole property sits inside Sandbar Provincial Park — one of the only private properties inside a Provincial Park in Canada.
