Cabin 4 is the kind of cabin that feels exactly right when you pull in after a long drive. Red siding. Mature trees. A front deck where you’ll rig rods before sunrise and kick off boots after sunset. It’s the classic Northern Ontario fishing camp experience, and it’s been welcoming families and anglers for decades.

The kitchen is traditional fishing camp style — wood-paneled walls, full-sized fridge, stove with oven, and a microwave. You’ve got everything you need to cook shore lunch, fry fresh Walleye, or fuel up before heading to one of our 15+ boat cache lakes. The dining area is where your group will gather every evening to share stories of trophy Northern Pike and Moose sightings.

From the deck, you look directly into the quiet beauty of Sandbar Lake inside the Provincial Park. No neighboring resorts or cottage clusters. Just forest, water, and open sky. Mornings come with the sound of loons. Evenings bring calm water and sunset reflections.

Outside, you’ve got your own BBQ, fire pit, and picnic table. The yard leads naturally down to the lake, giving kids room to explore and anglers room to organize gear. After a full day targeting Walleye or Northern Pike, evenings around the fire become part of the tradition. This is unplugged Northwestern Ontario — limited wifi, limited cell service, and full connection to the outdoors.
