Sandbar Lake is abundant with Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Perch. You can venture to other lakes with cached boats for Lake Trout!
Fish House Facilities
Our fish house is one of the largest in the area!

Our large fish house has a walk-in freezer as well as running water and a large fish cleaning area with stainless steel sinks.
In town there are 2 well-stocked bait shops that sell fishing licenses, close to the resort. See our Ignace Weather and Events page.

Premier Walleye & Northern Pike Fishing on Sandbar Lake, Ontario
Experience world-class fishing
in the heart of Sandbar Provincial Park.
Rousseau’s Landing offers immediate access to excellent Walleye and Northern Pike fishing on Sandbar Lake, plus a variety of nearby lakes for Lake Trout, Perch, and Smallmouth Bass.
➝ Sandbar & Kukukus offer 16ft boats with Yamaha 4-stroke engines.
➝ All other lakes have 16ft boats with 2-stroke engines.
➝ All lakes except Kukukus & Sandbar require you to transport the motor and gas.
➢ You will need to take a paddle, plug, as well as boat cushions.
➢ We will assist with loading. A boat kit will be supplied as well.
Ontario Law requires a boat kit and life jackets for all boaters. 👈
